USCIS will not adjudicate anymore I-485s until October 1

While not a major issue as we are less than 1 week away from October 1 and the beginning of the new fiscal year, USCIS has announced that they have met the statutory cap for Employment based cases so will not be adjudicating any more I-485 applications until October 1, the beginning of the new fiscal year.   They will continue to accept filings based upon the September Visa Bulletin throughout September, so you can still file your I-485 at this time.
